Mayen Usoro, a sophomore at Cesar Chavez High in Arizona, swept the elite girls 100-meter dash and 200 meters with wind-legal marks of 11.50 and 23.48 seconds, respectively, at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Usoro produced the meet record in the 200 meters and ran the second-fastest time in meet history in the 100-meter dash. She also contributed to Cesar Chavez taking third in the elite 4x100-meter relay in 47.14 seconds.
